At three-and-a-half hours from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas, Eagle Point is Utah's most secluded resort. Some days when you walk to the slope after buying your ticket, you'll hear the Skyline Double Chair ski lift moving overhead, otherwise, you'll bask in the silence. The Tushar Mountains area near Beaver is a quiet and serene country. Fans of Eagle Point say it feels like having your own private resort. Or, as Eagle Point puts it, "your second home." Enjoy yourself on Utah's third-highest mountain range, where the nearly 12,000-foot Mount Holly towers over the pine, fir, spruce, aspen and oak that line the trails of Eagle Point. The view from the top is as unforgettable as the ride down. Eagle Point is only open Friday-Monday (translation: weekday storms = Powder Fridays).
