Federal Shutdown Information

We closely monitor discussions around federal government funding and the effects on national parks, monuments and other federally managed areas throughout the state.

On September 30, 2023, the U.S. government signed a short-term funding bill to avert a government shutdown through November 17, 2023. All of Utah's national parks, monuments and areas will continue to operate as usual during this time. And the state remains committed to keeping these areas protected, safe and accessible at all times.
