Located between Brigham City and Logan, this area is surrounded by green mountains, has a small reservoir and is home to a growing complex of short and sweet mountain bike trails.

With easy rides along the river to intermediate and endurance sections of the Great Western Trail, there is something for everyone to pedal in the Bear River Range.

Green Canyon
This flowy single-track winds through shady, green forests near Logan. Moderate rocky inclines are rewarded with views of dense wildflowers in summertime. Be mindful of hikers and dogs on the descent.

Jardine Juniper
Ten glorious miles of heavy elevation gains, switchbacks and panoramic views of northern Logan. Waiting at the peak is the trail's namesake – a 1,500 year old Juniper tree.

Antelope Island Mountain View
There are over 36 miles of trails to choose from on Antelope Island, located about 40 miles northwest of Salt Lake City. For first timers, the Mountain View trail offers a fun and easy way to explore the island. Beware of the occasional bison wandering across your path.

McCoy Flats
The desert highlands on the northern edge of the Uinta Basin, just west of Vernal, Utah, are home to pronghorn, wind and the mountain bike track network of McCoy Flats. Although about a two-hour drive east of the Wasatch Back, the network’s diversity of trails makes it a place that the whole family can enjoy.

Bonneville Shoreline Trail
The behemoth Bonneville Shoreline Trail stretches all the way from the Utah-Idaho border to Spanish Fork. The Salt Lake City segment traverses along the Wasatch Front for 13.5 miles, offering moderate single-track riding with city and canyon views.

Wasatch Crest Trail
One of Utah's first-class must-rides, the Wasatch Crest Trail near Solitude and Brighton ski resorts offers five-star scenery and unparalleled vantage points. Plan ahead if descending through Millcreek Canyon – mountain bikers are only allowed on even-numbered days.
