The Utah Office of Tourism is the state agency tasked with marketing Utah's tourism assets to the world. The office possesses a robust and practiced public relations program that provides prompt service on all media requests.

Image and Video Assets

Our Mediagraph asset library is open to media and non-profits looking to enhance their Utah-related content. To register for access:

  1. Visit the "Request Access" page and fill in your contact information.
  2. Your access request will be granted within 24-48 hours.

In compliance with Utah Office of Tourism photographer agreements, images may not be used for any purpose not expressly stated in our asset agreement terms listed below. This includes but is not limited to website use, commercial applications or anything not directly related to economic development, tourism promotion or media use. Additionally, photo credit must be given for each instance.

Utah Office of Tourism Asset Use Agreement

By downloading, copying or making any use of any image, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Asset Use Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not copy or use the assets in any way without express written permission from The Utah Office of Tourism. These images and assets are provided by Utah Office of Tourism for your "royalty free" usage. You may use these assets to promote Utah Tourism within your business or government agency in the following media: Promotional materials, editorial and catalog layouts, web and online design, multimedia presentations and video/film productions or broadcasts.

Utah Office of Tourism reserves the right to cancel usage of these images/assets and request the termination of use of any digital files at any time. All copyright is retained by the individual photographers and/or The Utah Office of Tourism. We provide these assets on an "as is" basis. You are solely responsible for your use of the assets. Any misuse of an asset or breach of this Agreement will be cause for the Utah Office of Tourism to discontinue providing these assets to you for future use.

Photo Credit

All published (electronic or print) images must be accompanied by a legible copyright notice to Photographer and Image caption. When images are used, the photographer and Utah Office of Tourism (Courtesy of “photographer name”/Utah Office of Tourism) must be credited. Specific credits for each stock photo or ad image are found within their respective file names.

Alterations

Asset users will not alter images in a way that would falsify or misrepresent the original image. No additions or custom photoshop work may be done.

Transfer and Assignment

Utah Office of Tourism Asset users may not assign or transfer this agreement or any rights granted under it. No amendment or waiver of any terms is binding unless set forth in writing and signed by all parties—Asset User, Utah Office of Tourism, and Photographer. This agreement incorporates by reference Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Copyright Act of 1976, as amended. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the parties intend that this agreement shall not be governed by or subject to the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act (“UCITA”) of any state.
