City Creek Center
The newest Salt Lake City shopping experience is City Creek Center, which opened to great fanfare in 2012. Encompassing two entire city blocks, this is the retail centerpiece of one of the nation's largest mixed-use downtown redevelopments. Featuring all your favorite brands across 90 stores and restaurants, City Creek has a stunning outdoor design with a retractable ceiling for inclement weather, spectacular fountains and a naturalized creek that runs through the galleria. The Gateway
The Gateway is an open-air contemporary destination in downtown Salt Lake City that delivers shopping, dining and entertainment. A stroll down the red-brick walkways will lead you past excellent home goods and clothing shops, but the Gateway is more than just a shopping center. It serves as a hub for many of the city’s favorite entertainment venues, including the Clark Planetarium, Discover Gateway Children’s Museum, Megaplex 12 Movie Theater and downtown concert venues including the Depot and the Delta Center.

Trolley Square
The newly-remodeled Trolley Square housed trolleys and electric trains a century ago, but today shoppers can enjoy dozens of boutique stores, gift shops and restaurants, as well as fresh produce at the state's flagship Whole Foods Market. Visitors can walk to the top of Trolley Square’s iconic lighted water tower for panoramic views of the Salt Lake skyline set against the Wasatch Mountains. This historic shopping center is full of interactive exhibits, photography collections and preserved trolley cars.

Fashion Place
For upscale shopping in the Salt Lake valley, Fashion Place offers over 125 high-end stores and restaurants. Fashion Place has been one of Utah’s retail hotspots since 1972 and has welcomed Utah’s first branches of Zara, Crate & Barrel, Urban Outfitters, the Container Store and Sephora.
The Shops at South Town
Utah's largest shopping mall is The Shops at South Town in Sandy, featuring 150 stores and restaurants and an amazing indoor carousel. Outdoor enthusiasts will marvel at the variety of sporting goods stores nearby, such as Cabela's just off I-15 in Lehi, near the Outlets at Traverse Mountain. Meanwhile, the 220,000-square-foot Scheels retail shopping experience showcases Utah's largest selection of sports, sportswear and footwear under one roof, as well as family activities such as an in-store Ferris wheel and mini-bowling lanes.
Station Park
Farmington's Station Park, a mixed-use lifestyle center on Utah's Wasatch Front, is a great stop on any Northern Utah itinerary. The center is easy to access, adjacent to the Utah Transit Authority commuter rail station, Interstate 15, Highway 89, and the Legacy Highway, just 15 miles north of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake City International Airport. The development features more than 100 businesses, including a grocery store, yoga studio, cooking school, large Hyatt Place hotel and the University of Utah Health Center. Upon completion, the property will include luxury office spaces, restaurants, stores and services, along with a cutting-edge-14 screen theater and a winter ice skating rink.

Gardner Village
Located in West Jordan, just south of Salt Lake City, Gardner Village is a quaint outdoor shopping area that features locally-owned specialty shops housed in restored buildings. These establishments offer a diverse range of goods, from furniture and home décor to clothing, candy, gifts and antiques. Additionally, visitors can enjoy unique experiences on-site, such as an escape room, a small outdoor amusement park and a magic lounge featuring a dinner theater.
