Lost Creek State Park
- Weather: Snow, 33F
Lost Creek State Park is located up a windy road 10 miles northeast of the town of Croydon. You'll see why this place has earned the name "Lost" as there is a huge reservoir hidden away in the mountains covering 365 acres. While the reservoir is wakeless, many people will take their boats here to fish. Other popular activities include paddling and hiking around the reservoir. Be sure to pack plenty of food and water as activities are limited, but nearby Taggart's Grill makes a great spot to eat after a day on the river.
Where To Stay
Hotels and Lodging
Look to Huntsville, Morgan or Ogden for a variety of hotels and lodging accommodations. In Huntsivlle, check out the Compass Rose Lodge, which offers its guests tours of their onsite Huntsville Astronomic and Lunar Observatory (HALO).
Camping
Camping is not allowed at Lost Creek, however, primitive camping is available outside of the area. Please contact the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Ogden Ranger District for more information.
