Matcha Gimlet (3-Ingredient) Cocktail Recipe
Restaurant: Post Office Place
Artisan: Crystal Daniels, bar manager of Post Office Place
About: Post Office Place's name and menu pay homage to the old post office that once stood across the street. Similar to this Salt Lake City bar's namesake, this recipe is a classic style. The cocktail is not overly botanical, so it works really well for a simple cocktail, which allows the ingredients to shine.
Matcha Syrup
Ingredients:
- ½ cup water (boiled)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp matcha powder
Matcha Gimlet
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz gin (Waterpocket Temple of the Moon Gin preferred)
- ¾ oz lime
- ¾ oz matcha syrup
